The whole process was a lot of fun and really really exciting. I can't believe that I'm graduating! Prom was a little over rated but I did have fun and it was awesome to be dressed up next to all of my friends. Food wasn't too shabby and the music could have been better but I did have my share of breaking out on the dance floor. After prom was a bust but I'm sure I will find my way to make up for that very soon. =D

May Long Weekend

This year's Geography 12 trip was to Portland, Oregon from the 17th to 20th of May. It was really exciting because it's been a long time since the last time I was a way from home and oddly, I've been craving the feeling. We left school bright and early at 7:30 Thursday morning. There was a lot of bus riding time and it was really boring and annoying because I never really fell asleep on the bus. We visited the Museum of Flight and Microsoft in Redmond, Washington; Mt St Helens Visitor Centre, the Johnston Observatory, and Ape Caves in the Kelso area; and shopping malls in Oregon. Lots of bus riding, Korean drama watching, junk food/ fast food eating, and tax free shopping.

Shopping was a little disappointing because we were always tight on time (except at Woodburn) and I was with Jess and Erin. It was a little awkward shopping with them because I didn't really know where I wanted to go myself and where they wanted to go either. We mainly ended up hitting H&Ms and F21s everywhere. Clothes wise, I only found two pairs of jean shorts and a bra and bandeau. On the bright side, I found my prom dress at F21 for $34.80!! If you're wondering what it looks like, its two posts down. :D I 'm really happy with it and it's quite versatile so I don't think I will have a problem finding a time to rewear it.

Overall, Geo trip was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with people I don't usually chill with and it was cool. Food was pretty good too and I didn't end up spending all that much. A plus was that the trip got majority of the bus hooked on City Hunter, a Korean drama. Reagan brought the dvd set and I think we spent a total of like 14 hrs or something watching. and 95% of the people who were interested went home and watched the last 6 eps before school on Tuesday. I finished on Wednesday night and was a little disappointed because of the rushed ending. Overall though, I was really content with the drama. It's got a little bit of everything I like. Action, hot guys, nice cars, cheesy drama romance, etc. I'm a little obsessed. Lee Minho the main character, is pretty drool worthy  though. ;)

It's been eons...

So much time has flown by in the last little while that it feels like I'm in the eye of a hurricane. At the beginning of the month, I had known that it would be jam packed with stuff. First weekend was Mother's day dinner and supposed sleepover at dai yee ma's, second weekend was mother's day and my birthday and for that, third weekend just passed and I just came back from the geography trip and the coming thursday is prom. It's honestly been a whirlwind of activity and it doesn't seem to end.

Mother's day dinner was delicious. Uncle Donald made 3 roasts and a turkey and we stuffed ourselves so full. Vince brought this card game called Cards Over Humanity which is like a super offensive version of Apples to Apples. It was hillariously wrong. We stayed pretty late but didn't end up staying over at Mike's because everyone had plans for Sunday. Traffic was bad because of construction so we waited it out and got home pretty late. Slept in on Sunday for the first time in a while.

The Friday before my birthday I got a bunch of my friends and Anthony, Mike, and Albert to come and donated blood for me. It went quite well besides Chiyo and Mike getting deferred. It took a while but we got through everyone. Afterwards, Abby came over cuz I had time to spare and we had time to catch up which was really nice. Dinner was booked for the Korean BBQ on Broadway and it was tasty. They got rid of they're super cheap set menus though so it was a little pricier. Nat and Chi were super late but I later realized that they went and got my  birthday prezzy in the time gap. :D After dinner we went downtown to watch The Avengers. I thought it was a pretty good movie but it was late and I got a little sleepy. Bobby and Jess fell asleep which was kinda funny. Sunday, was mother's day and my birthday but mom was busy so I had to drag Albert up to pick me up from the Y. He took me to Honolulu for lunch but he had work after to I stayed on Main alone. Walked through Front and Co looking for prom dress but didn't find anything. Arthur texted me wondering why I wasn't at the flower shop with mom and D. So I bussed down to the shop and spent most of the day there. Helped out at the shop which was pretty fun. Arth took me to McDonalds and bought me a Happy Meal in spite of my bday. It was quite embarrassing but hilarious to snack on a happy meal on you're 18th birthday. XD Can't wait until the summer when I can chill with him. Granny and Rebecca came over for dinner. Dad cooked and it was tasty even though it was mainly leftovers from dinner with granny and Tak the night before. B ordered me a Marble Slab birthday cake ice cream cake with gummy bears and it was fattily delish. Had to sleep early because of school the next day.

Got called back for a "2nd" interview for the YMCA sumemr camp which was really exciting. It was more of a practical thing where I had to lead  a group of kids for a pre planned activity. I got to choose basketball and it was really quite easy. The kids weren't too bad of a group so that helped immensely.

Time to start a new post because this one's been running quite long and the next two weekends after these events are really quite jam packed. Toodles!
